Why attend?

The Idaho AEYC Early Learning Conference is an opportunity to connect with peers and colleagues, gain professional development experience, and build your knowledge of what is happening in the Early Care and Education field. You are educators! You guide Idaho's youngest learners! You are the foundation builders of Idaho's future citizens and community. Join Idaho AEYC and the IdahoSTARS Project as we learn together from fantastic speakers and workshop presenters.

By attending Idaho AEYC's Conference, you will:

  • Gain new insights and professional knowledge.

  • Engage in statewide Early Care and Education (ECE) professional network opportunities.

  • Learn from experienced early childhood leaders.

  • Be empowered to promote and provide high-quality services for young children and their families.

IdahoSTARS approved training hours are available for the Conference. Up to 14.5 hours for the 2 day conference.

Friday Keynote Speaker:    Lisa Murphy - Founder and CEO of Ooey Gooey, Inc. and play advocate extraordinaire!

She has been in the field of early childhood education for over 30 years and spent most of her professional life teaching and working with children in various environments including Head Starts, elementary schools, private preschools, family child care homes, and many child care centers. Her mission is to assist in the transformation of the early care and education profession. Her standing room only seminars have become nationally known for their information, humor, inspiration and energetic delivery.

Cost:

  • Member rate: $145
  • Nonmember rate: $185
  • One Day member rate: $105
  • One Day nonmember rate: $125

By registering for this event, you acknowledge that pictures and videos may be taken throughout the event and that you may be in those photos and/or videos. The photos will be used solely by Idaho AEYC staff on social media pages and our website.

Training Hours and Credits Available

IdahoSTARS has approved training hours for the Conference as follows:

  • Friday, 7 hours
  • Saturday, 7.5 hours
  • Both days, 14.5 hours

Boise State University has approved one Professional Development Credit. Application can be found on our HERE.

Northwest Nazarene University credit approval coming soon.

Important Information

Please remember - The Annual Conference is about children, not for children. For safety reasons, we cannot allow children or strollers in the conference areas. We appreciate your understanding as we work hard to keep everyone safe.
