Membership

At Idaho AEYC, we offer an opportunity for Early Childhood Educators to join our professional membership to provide opportunities to learn more about quality early learning. Early Educators work every day to make a difference by providing quality learning opportunities for children and their families. With a membership, we will connect you to our expanding network of other early educators across the state, as well as provide professional development opportunities.

Volunteer

Like any nonprofit organization, Idaho AEYC would not be anywhere without our volunteers. They are the families, early education professionals, and educators who understand the importance of early learning for our children. There are a number of ways you can volunteer and help Idaho AEYC expand early childhood education for all of Idaho’s youngest learners.

Accreditation

Accreditation is a powerful tool through which early childhood professionals, families, and interested citizens can evaluate the quality of programs, make comparisons based on professional standards, and commit to strengthening programs through ongoing evaluations and improvements.

Parents choosing an early childhood education program can be overwhelmed by trying to find the highest-quality program for their child. NAEYC Accreditation is the mark of quality that gives families the chance to make the right choice for their child’s early education program.

Trainings

As early childhood educators, you are helping build the foundation of young children’s lives. Idaho Association for the Education of Young Children (IDAEYC) is committed to providing you with professional resources and learning opportunities so that you can provide high quality care and education for our youngest learners.

Early Learning Resources

Helping your young child learn at home can feel overwhelming – but it doesn’t have to be. Idaho AEYC has collected resources and tools to help families explore different ways to engage with and help their young children learn. From the basics – numbers, letters, and colors – to learning how to name and express emotion, listed below are valuable tools to help you maximize the time you have at home with your child.
