Lori Fascilla

Lori Fascilla was born into a family of 7 to parents who were born and raised in Idaho. At a young age her family moved to Maryland where she was able to grow up in a bustling metropolis experiencing the politics of Washington D.C., the arts, museums and historical locations on a regular basis. All things she’s still passionate about.

She moved back to Idaho to attend the University of Idaho to major in education. It’s also where she met her husband, decided to stay in beautiful Idaho and has raised two Vandals and one Bronco in the process.

Lori has dedicated most of her career as the Executive Director of Giraffe Laugh Early Learning Centers where they ensure school readiness, empower families and build strong futures for children 0-8. Since 1989 she has taken the non-profit organization, educating children and parents living in low-to-moderate income families, from one small center to five programs serving over 170 children annually. In 2024 Giraffe Laugh will add two additional centers doubling their impact in the community.

Impacting economic development through early education is her primary goal and mission; one child, one family at a time.
