Florina Ruvio is the Community Engagement Coordinator for IDAEYC’s Early Learning Collaboratives (ELC) project. Florina’s primary role is supporting the ELCs to better connect families with resources in their area, particularly within marginalized communities. As a HOPE Conquers ACEs trainer, she continues to share her knowledge of ACEs and the importance of Positive Childhood Experiences (PCEs). Florina believes every child deserves a safe and loving home where they can thrive and have access to quality education. The first five years have lifelong impacts, and she believes it is the responsibility of the community to support families so that every child has a strong start. In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and exploring new places.
