Beth Oppenheimer Announces Departure as Executive Director of Idaho Association for the Education of Young Children

BOISE, ID — February 21, 2024 — After 13 years of dedicated service, Beth Oppenheimer has announced her decision to step down as the Executive Director of the Idaho Association for the Education of Young Children (AEYC). Oppenheimer has been instrumental in leading Idaho AEYC's efforts to promote high-quality early learning for all children in the state during her tenure.

In a statement released today, Oppenheimer expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve in her role and highlighted the immense support received from donors, sponsors, members, and the broader community. Under her leadership, Idaho AEYC has been a driving force in advocating for the well-being of young children and families across Idaho, pioneering important work and conversations surrounding early education.

"While I am stepping down from my role, I want to assure you that Idaho AEYC remains committed to its mission of promoting high-quality early learning for all children in Idaho," Oppenheimer stated.
