Steps to Quality Coordinator for the IdahoSTARS project

Idaho Association for the Education of Young Children (Idaho AEYC) invites interested applicants for the full-time (40 hours per week) position of Steps to Quality Coordinator for the IdahoSTARS project, to join our organization as we work to promote quality in early care and education. Under the direction of the Idaho Association for the Education of Young Children (Idaho AEYC), the Steps to Quality Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, implementation and evaluation of Idaho’s Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS) while accomplishing tasks which advance the mission of Idaho AEYC.  Supervised by the Leadership Director for the IdahoSTARS Project and as part of a team of professionals, the Steps to Quality Coordinator plays a vital role in the achievement of IdahoSTARS’ goals for improving the quality of care for children 0-13 in Idaho. This position works in collaboration with the University of Idaho’s Center on Disabilities and Human Development.

IdahoSTARS Advisor

Responsible for conducting orientations to the Idaho Child Care Program (ICCP ), conducting follow-up site visits for ICCP orientations, completing intake procedures for child care practitioners, delivering accurate information, and ensuring completion of application materials. This position requires a High school diploma or equivalent; preferred Bachelor’s Degree in early childhood or related field with coursework in child development. 

Ready! for Kindergarten Child Care Providers Wanted

Ready! for Kindergarten is looking for individuals who can come to various locations in Boise, throughout the school year, and provide child care during parenting workshops. Workshops are traditionally held in the evenings, lasting approximately two hours.

You will be caring for children ages 1-12 while their parents take a parenting workshop in the same building.
