Steps to Quality Program Specialist for the IdahoSTARS Project

The Steps to Quality Program Specialist is responsible for the administration of Idaho’s Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS) called Steps to Quality (STQ). This position is critical to ensuring the QRIS is processed accurately and increases quality practices in early care and education programs by supporting the IdahoSTARS partners responsible for implementing the system.

The Resource Specialist is responsible for conducting orientations to the Idaho Child Care Program (ICCP ), conducting follow-up site visits for ICCP orientations, completing intake procedures for child care practitioners, delivering accurate information, ensuring completion of application materials and ensuring customer service practices are upheld. This position requires a High school diploma or equivalent working a minimum of two years in a customer service position.

Ready! for Kindergarten Child Care Providers Wanted

Ready! for Kindergarten is looking for individuals who can come to various locations in Boise, throughout the school year, and provide child care during parenting workshops. Workshops are traditionally held in the evenings, lasting approximately two hours.

You will be caring for children ages 1-12 while their parents take a parenting workshop in the same building.
