Building Idaho's Early Learning Foundation

Idaho AEYC has embarked on a three-year project to engage communities across Idaho about the importance of investing in high-quality early learning programs. Our project is generously funded by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation of Battle Creek, Michigan.

Efforts of our project will focus on a statewide community outreach plan that will: research communities across the state to clearly understand their perceptions and understanding about high-quality early learning; educate parents, families and community leaders about the importance of high-quality early learning; and build awareness and support by local communities and state leaders to invest in high-quality programs for young children.

Our project will put our state on a path to invest in Idaho families, our early learning professionals and our youngest children. We aim to ensure that all families in Idaho have access to affordable, high- quality early learning programs, regardless of their income.

Preschool the Idaho Way Toolkit

Evidence overwhelmingly supports early childhood education as a way to significantly benefit a child’s school readiness, the family’s ability to work, and community prosperity. We developed this toolkit to support efforts to create a local preschool collaborative!
