2015 National Week of the Young Child Celebration

I just wanted to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for attending and contributing to the success of our 1st Annual Week of the Young Child Celebration!! It was a wonderful event as we engaged children and families with fun and meaningful activities as well as providing valuable information on safety and quality resources available to them here in the Treasure Valley!

As chair for the TVAEYC – Week of the Young Child I feel that this year our small board has really raised the bar to provide a quality event to HONOR our “youngest learners”! I plan on returning for a 4th year and collaborating with even more to help our event grow!! I estimate that we saw over 100 children during our event and had around 400 people visit the park from noon to 3pm.
